Wi-Fi is more convenient than wired Ethernet cables. But Ethernet still offers advantages — faster speeds, lower latency, and no wireless interference problems. You probably won't be connecting an Ethernet cable to your smartphone any time soon.
Ethernet 🙂 best for speed and stability i like wireless but for my network has to be wired not only for local connectivity of my several computers but for external demand too
Wi-fi is faster in terms of connection (upload/download)
Ethernet is more stable than Wi-fi connection
wired connection is almost the same as ethernet connection, the only difference is you have the connection to yourself. Unlike ethernet connection which 2 or more devices/computers/laptops are connected and sharing an internet access.
Don't laugh but it's only now that I learned what Ethernet means, it is using a cable. Our wifi router is connected to our desktop by a cable which makes it slightly faster in access compared to the phones connected via wireless. But I don't think the difference can be felt because it may just be a fraction of a second. One colleague said that wifi routers are now good unlike in the earlier years when pollution can be felt to interfere in the access.
I don't really worry about it as much as I used to, ethernet is generally faster, but wi-fi is usually good enough and it lets me do things a lot more casually. For instance, I can just sit down with a laptop where ever I want.
Wi-fi, more convenient and can connect several devices at a time. I don't have to worry about the cable and do not have to be limited to one area when using the internet.
