Yes, it prevents people from signing up just to advertise, and prevents abuse of the privilege.

No Links. You may have a banner, but it can't have the url on it.

I'm not asking you to like it, but it's a Nintendo Wii Forum not an Advertising Forum. That said if you want me to help you bring up your POST count I will do the exchange with you, but if you're looking for an oppertunity to advertise I'd suggest you do it elsewhere. Sorry, but it's not appropriate for my site.

This is not something I'm willing to debate. Again, if you want to do the exchange, then I'll do the exchange.
