Wii to loose market position

It is said that the popular gaming system the "Wii" will be loosing it's place in the gaming world to other systems. Wii has just died out.

If it didn't happen last year, when they didn't release anything good, I doubt it'll happen now. Too many notable titles like Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid, and Zelda coming out for that too happen.

It is not the games, it is the system in general. It is having a complete lack of updates compared to other systems avalible.

I myself, stick to the PS2.

Console gaming always loses ground on its current generation EVERY time a computer is updated.
Myself? I'll stick to my MacBook Pro.

It's not the games? LOL the games are what basically gives the extra boost to the system.

Pretty funny this didn't happen sooner. Most people I know who have a wii stop using it after a few weeks. Like 3 good games coming out and then 50 wii fit crap games isn't exactly what people want. Look at the difference between the quality of releases on the PS3/360 and the releases on a wii.

I find this odd. The Wii is supposed to be one of the best, considering it helps people have more fun, and get exercise.

I wouldn't be overly surprised. If you're leading the market by a substantial figure for one year, then drop a few percents the next, but still be leading then its not all too bad. Sounds like that will be the case, IMO.

No, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid: Other M, Zelda Wii all in the same year. Remember when Brawl came out? A whole bunch of people bought Wii just for that. But, yeah, Wii will keep it's ground this year. And it's not like either Sony or Microsoft is going to catch up anyways?
