Wii would like reviewed!

May i take a crack at this? I happen to have had about 1 year's worth of experience reviewing. If you don't mind, i can hopefully have it done in 2 day's, unless one of the other review staff do it before then 😛

1. Members: 6.5/10 -
I judged your board member's, from the start opening date of your administration registration account, which would make it the "25-August 08". Now considering it has been over a month for you, give or take the few day's neccesary, your member registration seem's to have gone at a more slow/steady pace now sitting at 28 member's which is somewhat in the low regions of what you should be aiming for, however i did take into account the fact that a board generated by it's main theme of "Gaming" might find it a tad more difficult to find a big enough flow of new member's coming in. I still think with allot more heavier advertising you could easily increase the flow of member's coming through your board.
2. Active Members: 7.5/15 -
I was a little harsher with this category, as your income of "Active Members" is basically none. I mean in all seriousness, you really don't have any active member's as i went through your list and any of them that are over the 15 post mark, haven't visisted the board in well over a week which show's they aren't interested in your board anymore or don't find anything that is helping them keep interested long enough to sustain a longer visit at your board.
I broke down the list like this -
As you can see, it's really easy to say, a majority of your member's are within the 1/15 post range, and the rest of the majority fall in the 0 post's section. The 4 member's that are in the 15 post's above section, 2 are staff, and the other 2 havent been to your board in a week +. You may want to try and start thinking of different ways to attract old member's to the board, whether that be "Emails/Pms Or Re-organizing the board".
3. Posts: 5/10 -
A large majority of your post's are held in 1 account, and that would be the main admiinstration account which isn't really a bad thing at the start of a board, however it doesnt look good to new member's if they only see 1 account basically posting all the time.
One problem i do see, is the fact that barely any of your member's are posting on your board which should easily indicate your not doing something right, and one thing that would easily deter me from your board is the appearance. We can get into that a little later though and at the moment, you need to work on your "TOPIC INFLOW" which is one of the harshest thing's that can keep your board alive, and from the look of it, you barely have topic's anywhere on your board and this can stop new member's coming into your board if they think it's dead. Try and get your staff and yourself to keep posting new topic's each and every day to make sure there are going to be topic's if new member's come in and want to post.
4. Appearance: 9/20 -
Your banner is probably the only high-point of your entire appearance to the board, and even that is pushing the limit of blandness.
The banner is slightly bigger than something that can be done something about, as you have a huge banner and yet all the main information is on the left hand side, with the image and the text, then you have this small bit on the right hand side that is basically this small text at the bottom.
The rest of the skin, is nothing that can be happy about, as it's nothing that would attract any member's at all. The skin you are currently using is very bland and blue, and it's really quite boring and im not suprised that any of your member's are really interesting in staying any longer than neccesary. There are some skin's out there that would suffice for your board and are generated towards the "gaming theme" you are trying to get across, even with the "WII" movement you are probably trying to include in it. Instead of getting a really bland and simple skin, look for one that can help you post tid-bits from newsites, and perhaps a more techy look that doesnt look like it was done by a 10 year old. The markers are fine, but they are nothing that scream's great or amazing, but they are something that you can keep, you still have some default marker's on the board, but when you look at the appearance, it actually doesn't matter with the rest of the board.
The shoutbox you have at the bottom, could also be used a little better, as it's a tad to big at the moment, and take's up a bit of space, and i know there are Cbox's out there, that can be incorporated onto a board that are substaintailyl smaller and not as unnatractive to new and exisiting members.
5. Layout: 9/15 -
You have about 20 forum's on the board, barely any of them have more than 5 topic's in them, and this look's ugly to any member or new member that want's to join the board. An important aspect on getting a good layout is making sure each is populated and still maintains a good activity rate otherwize they are left to die and they ruin the forum. I'm not going to go into a huge thing with the layout, as i don't believe in cuddling member's and showing them how to do everything.
A layout is something that need's to be decided by staff and member's.
6. Staff: 8/10 -
You have 2 staff, one being a global moderator and one being an admin, each seem's to be keeping up to date with his workload however, i would suggest you try and get the global moderator to post a little more around the board to show he/she is somewhat enthusastic about the board as a global moderator with 30 post's doesnt exactly scream "I love my job", however with that said, he may have only been hired a few day's ago, or instead of a spamming mod he may be one that post's when he find's something that get's his interest.
7. Activity: 9/20 -
Most of your member's havent logged in for quite some time, there was no online at all during the entire review which took a good 30/40 minute's and out of the 20 forum's you have, only about 5 of them had been posted in today, which really to me should indicate to you that your activity level's are far from impressive. You should start thinking about sending up Pm's to old and new member's to remind me that your board's exist's and then start advertising to try and bring in new member's as your board is on a one way trip to "Dead-Vil".

1. A new banner is a must for a forum like this, or at least populating a little more on the right side.
2. GET A NEW APPEARANCE
3. Try and maintain some more activity from your current members
4. Topics & Topics
5. Get your staff more active in and around the forum
6. Advertise like a bull in a china shop
7. Throw some ideas around with staff for maybe contests
