I think Julian Assange should be a free man and only the corrupt worry about his freedom.

Oh, just yesterday I overheard something on the news about him but I didn't stop to check. Thanks for sharing the link. I have some time on my hands so I'll see what they are saying now.

He needs to be set free. If any country wants to punish him, that means the guy was right about the leaks.

Well, under the law, they have to arrest him for resisting arrest, otherwise it would set a very bad precedent in it's own way.

The original charges however were pretty suspect. Very convenient for a couple of rape charges to pop-up out of thin air and then to vanish after he holed himself up in there.

Well, the whole point of the CIA is that they do shadowy things in secret.
They're probably up-to things even now, it's pretty much their job.

The NSA doing that grates on people more as one of their top responsibilities is making systems more secure and not putting holes everywhere so they can spy on people.

As for the FBI, they seem to be overreaching in some areas, apparently they even got ahold of a few zero day exploits to break into people's computers to get evidence in some cases.
