Anyone currently being affected by wildfires? We have been having major issues in the area with smoke being blown in from California, due to how bad their fires got out of hand.

I'm in Michigan so we're far enough away. I definitely feel for those who around the areas! I wouldn't begin to imagine what it is like!

We aren't having any wildfires here but we did have a nasty storm blow through today. It uprooted lots of trees. We weren't home but our second vehicle was damaged. Thankfully house is fine and even more importantly animals are fine in the house.

Hate to live in a place where the trees in the front might fall onto vehicles or other valuable property.
The haze got so bad, that we could barely see a quarter of a mile away. Thankfully we are having storms moving into the area, so the smoke in the air has gone down for the time being.

Yea, I'm just thankful we are all okay and the neighborhood isn't too badly damaged apart from uprooted trees throughout.
I bet that made driving a task. How far off from the wildfires roughly are you? Any risk of the actual fires heading your way?

The closest fires are just a couple hundred miles to the south and south-east. Though from the looks of it, we have quite the few to the west of us that might be an issue again, if the fires don't get contained better, and winds don't send the smoke our way again.
