Will Facebook video beat YouTube ?

I don't think it is fair to compare Facebook videos with Youtube videos because Youtube is a video storage where the database has a menu and the videos are segregated by channels. From what I understand with Facebook you just post the video on your timeline and only your friends can see. I may be wrong but you cannot search a video in Facebook unless you know who posted it. Besides Youtube has all kinds of videos now that it is very convenient to go there for your video needs.

Kids also wouldn't go onto Facebook either due to the age limit. Youtube is also a highly searched site because there are no restrictions on who can visit.

I don't see Facebook surpassing Youtube. While both platforms have their obvious pitfalls, Facebook falls short on the 'community' feel when it comes to videos. Youtube was built around that idea and it really sets it apart. Facebook videos are useful for quick or funny videos, but Youtube picks up from there for everything else.

It does and I agree with you. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram are mainly for posting funny videos were as Youtube is for posting anything you want no matter the genre.
