Will this phpbb mod work?

Hi guys, I want to install a mod for my forum, Ads Management mod, which can be found here:

The problem is my forum is phpbb 3.0.8, and the latest mod version is for phpbb 3.0.7, so I wonder if I can run it on my forum?

Has anyone ever tried this?

I'm going to guess at yes, it will. Most of the time they have for me anyway.

The only way to really be sure is to install it yourself, and see if it does work. Make sure to backup all of your files first though, just in case it doesn't.

I think it should work, seeing as 3.0.8 was a security update. But always install it on a local server or test site first 🙂

You may find that some of the lines to "find" have changed a little, so it may require a bit of detective work to find the right places for some, if you are competent with editing then it shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

3.0.8 was a security update, but you also 3.0.7pl1 to contend with.

Great, except I have 0 experience with phpbb mods. Also, tindris told me you were someone who is great at installing phpbb mods. Do you do it for free, for FP$, or for $$?

I wouldn't install it cause with 3.1 no mod will work anymore till updated.

I can install MODs, I will need to look at this one, and try it on my test board before I can decide on a price though
