I don't know whether this is the right place to post this but I apologize if it's the wrong place. I was thinking about getting a window sensor. I just moved into a house and despite the neighborhood's history of break-ins the previous owners never had any sort of security system installed in the house. We have a smart and lovable German Sheppard at home but I can't always rely on him. I found a few interactive systems from this site ( http://cspalarms.ca/cspconnected/ ) while I was browsing online. I was thinking about getting either stalwart or ge but I am not sure how good they are. Does anybody else use window sensors at home? If so, at what price can you get a decent window sensor that is efficient and worth the price? Any thoughts on this would be great. Tia.

We have home security with ADT. They helped install window sensors (for both if the window is opened or broken) and we also have security cameras but we installed those ourselves and are now able to monitor the house with our phones. My husband and I both have firearms as well for worst case scenarios if we are home and a break in were to occur. We probably won't ever need this much security however, the peace of mind that we get by having these things are priceless.
