Windows 10 offer expired

I missed out on the free upgrade to Windows 10 offer by like 20 minutes. Did I miss out on anything? 🙁

The computer I was going to upgrade runs Windows 8, and Windows 8 just doesn't seem to function that well for me at least. I hate the whole Metro they gave to the remnants of the once known Start Menu lol. 😛

Damn bro -- you need to get with the times. Windows 8 is total nightmare. I'd downgrade to XP before I'd run Windows 8 personally.

Lol XP for the win. And the computer was already loaded with Windows 8, which is why I'm pissed I missed out on 10. 🙁

I'm tired of this window 8 machine in my office but luckily i upgrade my Home window 7 machine before the deadline. Window 10 is inspired from both 7 and 8. I Love it

🙂 Computer Technicians like myself have been dealing with Windows 10 and have disabled the Windows 10 Upgrade Service on customers many times, so to hear someone say they missed it by 20 minutes baffles me.

Because he had a whole year to complete the offer, and I am sure the Microsoft Upgrade Scheduler popped up many times on his screen.

To provide something helpful, if he is still looking for Windows 10 for free, Microsoft is still offering it for free to people who use assistive technologies with their computer, such as a magnifier to better see the screen, a narrator to read text aloud, keyboard shortcuts and an on-screen keyboard.
