WIndows 10 is not always going to be around, in fact, if you do not know that they are working on windows 11 and aa weeks go on I'm hearing more content and previews on the new system.

Microsoft said that Windows 10 is supposed to be the last of Windows, and going to be a continuous development.

I'm happy for new updates, but Microsoft needs to stick to their word.

Windows 10 is good, it is the best software update I've seen since Windows XP. Windows 7 was good, just convoluted.

And also, I don't think it's going to be called Windows 11, at launch. They skipped Windows 9. Windows 8 was released, but even Microsoft didn't spend too much time on it for the reasons that Windows 7 was skipped midway through development. Microsoft removed naming convention with Xbox Series X. I expect this to follow in its footsteps.

Another update to break all of my work software.
To be fair, the transition from Win7/8 to Win10 was smooth. Its just a small portion of Windows users who have problems. Like some users have legacy software. When I transitioned from an older Windows version, my uncle and I sat down and removed programs that are older than 3 years or programs i never use. We upgraded to Windows 7 finally with programs removed.

As far as I know, it is the Sun Valley update. And it still has the old W10 as core and some UI changes. I do not think MS will try to introduce something that will break everything that works. Because things are in their favour now.

I really don't like the windows 10 talk more of installing the new windows 11 on my system. The new upgrade on these windows zap data's a lot and I don't like it at all

I'm looking forward to Windows 11. I saw a video just recently of Linux Tech Tips installing it on a workbench computer to test it. Apparently it's much different on the beta version he was testing. The desktop icons are smaller and the bottom bar puts the icons in the center. Excited for it to release though.

Microsoft never said that Windows 10 was the last version, a developer said that and Microsoft never agreed with it publicly.

Well, do not trust what they say and do at times, they said it and many saying what the flip and yet they are still doing it.

Why the icons are so large? 😨

I am so afraid after updating my windows 10, which has slowed down my laptop like hell. What would happen if I install windows 11. 😏

Icons can be resized anyway 🙂

Heads up that they just release the insider program to everyone now and so you can get to download a test beta of windows 11

I can’t believe that 7th gen PCs and below can’t get this update because I’ve got 7th gen pc and it plays any game

Typical Windows looking to be a resource hog. I'll stick with 10 on my main machine and Linux everywhere else 🙂

Same here and you got that right also typical of them to think everyone is made out of money.

Just this morning, I realized this is a partnership between Microsoft and Intel...

Do not listen to the system specs and also the software. I have a CPU that's 10 years old that has six cores and 8 threads that can be boosted over 4Ghz and the health checker says that it can't handle Windows 11, but I bet you it will 🙂 Only downsized that my Motherboard has an older TPM chip. Nowadays all new hardware and also back good five years ago should all have TPM 2.0 anyway 🙂 even my five-year-old basic laptop has it. ANd also that fact that CPUs that are older than three years is not going to work, Hmmm Well, SHOCKING

It's all about money-making, even if it's free, making people go out and buy new things still. However it;'s not going to be perfect for everyone as AMD system ;(

ALso another problem that e all have on our hands now is scalpers, they are all buying up TPM chips and re-selling them for double the cost 🙁 from $25 to $100 now

I couldn’t agree more my motherboard is 5 years old because I got the desktop second hand but it’s plays games perfectly fine on high resolution ,
So I’m not sure why they’re being so strict with the requirements besides 98% of business and school computers can’t get this update then

I know right. What about Banks and businesses that using systems that were running XP and most companies that would have PC systems that won't have TPM as they would be older gen.

I say most people, 80% of people be using Windows 10 still. And hopefully, Microsoft open their eyes and see the outcome and change
