Windows ME was good, however it wasnt any different than 98 in my opinion.
Vista is good too. My computer has had it for over 2 years and it runs fine. Never had any problems yet.

Anyways that doesnt change the fact that its a total rip off. I heard when Apple releases its new OS versions, its only $30 to upgrade. Not a couple hundred dollars.

Yes but with Apple you pay a gazillion dollars for the computer anyway. If you're a student you can upgrade to Windows 7 for about $30.

Windows ME can't hold a candle to Windows 98 Second Edition! Windows 98 was an extremely stable OS, but ME bluescreened all the time and constantly threw "NO VIRTUAL MEMORY! PRESS 'OK' AND MACHINE WILL SELF-DESTRUCT!" error messages. 😉

The only good thing about Windows ME was the startup sound. 😉

a) Mac only uses half the RAM Vista does.
b) At least we dont get a "gazillion" error messages every second of the day.

Lol I dont know why people have such bad luck with their PC's and complain about all these millions of errors. I only get them rarely.

Same here. I got more error using XP on my old laptop then i do using Vista. I haven't had any major problems with Vista unlike XP.

This thread is about Windows 7, not Vista. Though I agree Vista was crap, 7 is a lot better. Never got any error message on 7 yet. For the price of a Mac you can buy one hell of a computer, though with a Mac you only get average hardware.

Also, the new Mac OSX has a lot of bugs.
