Windows 7

I have had the chance to test this new bad boy and I have to say that I believe everyone will be happy with the new OS. It is very sleek, like VISTA, but requires less computer resources than XP! I have it on a 2001 computer built for XP and it is running very smooth. I can see that it was built for touchscreen computers, so Welcome to the Future!

My ability to use Windows 7 runs out in a few days but I cannot wait to get it on Oct 22nd. I will definitely be investing is a tablet PC to make use of all its functions.

I got that free version which lasts a year and recently its not been booting up at all, it cant fix itself as its still new and doesnt know whats wrong. I dont mind as such as its still the BETA version.

It's good but starts to break easily. I have been using it since I received an email with details on downloading an evaluation copy and it has started to loose functionality with sound, performance in games and other annoying traits. These maybe ironed out in final, but I will be sticking to XP once I get another copy.

I myself do not like Windows 7 nor Vista. I hate the way windows 7 looks. I have tried it out and really didn't like the task bar of it. I will stick with XP home edition and Linux when windows 7 is released.

I really like Vista. I know i am in the minority but i don't see any problems with it.

I won't be getting Windows 7 anytime soon when it comes out. I don't like how it looks. I do also like Vista. In my time using it, I never got a problem. (Relating to the operating system.) I'm switching when I'm forced to.

Which would probably soon considering Windows 7 isnt a totally new NT version. Like XP was NT 5 and Vista was NT 6, Windows 7 bizarrely is NT 6.1. Meaning this is just an upgrade.

Windows 7 is a really good operating system, im using the RC as we speak and it's pretty good. P.S: I can't wait to sink my teeth in Direct X 11!

Yeah... Everyone says how crap Vista is but i have no problems with it and i find it alot better then XP so i would rather wait for a while.

I like the fact that they trimmed the operating system down a gigabit or so. VISTA is a bulky OS. Also with Windows 7, Microsoft is offering Freeware and OpenSource programs!!! It is about time that Microsoft gets with the program.
