Windows XP or Chrome OS

I'm really a newbie at linux but how would arch linux work?

If you know how to use it,arch can work for any situation.

Depends, do you like to wait an hour till it's booted up to here the error sound when finally fully loaded? Do you like the un-user friendly interface as well the many bugs. Also, they stopped creating programs for XP so I should defiantly take a Chrome OS. If you had some extra RAM I would get a Windows 7. (although I run it in 3.6Ghz + 2MB cache or something; and 4GB RAM and it still is slow at booting up. )

I'd go with XP as the Windows operating system is all I've ever used. I wouldn't mind using Linux. I would choose which ever is fastest. 🙂

http://www.android-x86.org/ might be also worth a look since it is Google Android which is ported to work with desktop and laptop computers.
