[WIP] Elegant Blue

This is a theme for MyBB 1.6. Not finished yet, but nearly there. Still a few things to do yet.

Not yet started the forum list, that will be done tomorrow. As for the postbit, it will also be customized.

You will have noticed some red stars (*,**,***), which means the following:

1 Star (*):
The grey area on the right is being removed. I was going to add a sidebox, but thought I'd better not. The forum is already smaller, so adding a sidebox would decrease the space being used for forum descriptions.

2 Stars (**):
Still designing a table or drop down menu for guest and member links. I will also be adding a nice little login box there too.

3 Stars (***):
Footer links will be brighter and have a better background.

Perhaps a different font for the navigation. Something a bit thicker.

I've had some suggestions for the navigation, so that will be having less spacing, a better font and larger/bolder text.

I will be changing the breadcrumb navigation too, that was a quick addition which I forgot to mark in the screenshot.

I think the images and buttons look too much like the default. Think they should be 100% custom as the default do not look good, nice work on the theme though.

I only used them buttons so I could focus more on the theme itself. The shape and colour of buttons doesn't bother me as they can easily be changed.

Honestly I think you should focus on the theme not the buttons, who cares if they are in the same shape as the default, they are much better than the default and they look fancy that's all that matters.

I like it, can't wait to see it finished.

Exactly what I was thinking, besides many members change their buttons anyway.

Theme has some good progress, I will post some screen shots soon.

Have you thought about rounding the corners? That way it makes it more elegant which makes it fit its name better plus it makes it look better.

Anyway it looks pretty good.

I disagree, rounded corners does not always make something more elegant. I think the squared corners is best

I like rounded corners as CSS buttons, but I won't be putting rounded corners on the theme itself.
