Have any of you had an issue with an iHome wireless mouse? Mine keeps stopping when I try to use it. I mean the red light is still on, etc, but it just won't move unless I turn it on and off again. Is this normal for this brand of mouse?

No I haven't but if it's stopping us from talking on Skype I will find it and destroy it.

I had a iHome mouse before and I loved it. I would probably check the battery, both my iHome and current wireless mouse act's up when the battery is going cupit.

It also could be the sensors wearing out, how long have you had it?

Oh than it's probably neither of those unless the precharged battery wasn't charged all the way. 😛 What are you using it on? A mousepad?

No, I don't have a mousepad so I use it on my bed. 😛

A few days ago my wireless mouse was playing up, jumping all over the screen, scrolling incorrectly and generally not working as intended. The batteries were dead so I got new ones, though I only replaced them about a month ago.

I think you gotta use high quality batteries and remember to turn it off when you don't use it for an extended period of time, or be lazy like me and have one that automatically turns off.

I hope you're able to solve your mouse issues! I hate using a trackpad for some things and a wireless mouse just feels so freeee!

I have to keep it in a box. It is still new. Why? The expenses of its battery is huge, I can not stand the fast running out of power of it.

That could be why too. 😛 #Sensors

:O My other mouse worked fine though I THINK it is defective :O

I used a wireless mouse for the last couple of years for my laptop without any issue. It was though not of iHome, but it provided me with good service.

I use wireless mouse and keyboard and I have problems with mine "lagging" every once in a while...

What brand is it?

I have one, not an iHome though, and it does that occasionally. I take out the USB and plug it back in, and then turn the mouse off for a few minutes and turn it back on. Sometimes just pressing the reconnect button a few times helps too. That usually works for me. It doesn't happen too often. I've found having a high quality mousepad is good as well.

This why I don't use wireless mice. I would pay more in batteries than the cost of the mouse it's self. This could be different if you have rechargeable ones.

I hate how wireless mice need batteries like no other, and then even the ones that are hooked up to a dock when they are 'charging' I've noticed the lag too! 😱
