How many of you guys still have your wisdom teeth? Or when did you guys get your taken out? XD

I have two top ones, one of which is still trying to come in and it hurts like no tomorrow, and then the bottom two haven't done anything thankfully, I have no room on the bottom for them. XD

I had one that came through a few years ago, and it hurt so much. I hardly had any room for it inside my mouth. 🙁

I usually keep them all, because taking them out would be painful as well...there's no winning with these annoying teeth.

Had my wisdom teeth removed, due to that if they grew in, I would have either lost teeth because of them, or I would have severely out of place teeth.

Lies! XD

I had mine out a few years back. I had em knock me out for it and breathed that gas like crazy. I did not want to feel nada. XD Only thing that hurt was the shot to numb my mouth. And it was a pain keeping food out of the gaps with the little syringe they gave me. That and not being able to eat solids. And because my brother was rude and ate my pudding. XD

You can't eat solids when you get your wisdom teeth out? 😵

I have all 4 still. The top ones are in but the bottom ones haven't broke through yet. I know I need to get them pulled but blah D:

I know I couldn't when I had em out. Just while the stitches and such were in there I believe. Was eating lots of soup and pudding.

I remember after I got it done my sister ran over to see if my face puffed up. To her disappointment it didn't. Then, she offered me chips. ~_~

I never had a single wisdom tooth. Apparently it's a rare case that makes me a mutant; something to be happy about since wisdom teeth are flat out useless.

My dentist from last year tried to look for them (I was thinking it might come later on) and after three minutes or so she communicated to me that my wisdom teeth aren't coming — not now and not later. I simply don't have them at all. She let out a sigh, probably because she won't be getting 1000 dollars from me for the extraction.

Even then, I don't think she'd be extracting any should they be present. I found out shortly after that within my family most of them never had their wisdom tooth extracted because they came out just fine (and some of them don't have it either) and never got in the way of anything. The only grounds for extraction is when the wisdom tooth starts harming the patient and in most cases it's associated with pain.

I had to have mine removed because they were messing with my other teeth and ultimately hurting my gums. I remember having them removed wasn't that bad. It was the recovery process that was painful. To think I started to say that I didn't need pain killers. I'm glad I ignored that thought and picked up my prescription anyway because I really needed them after a few hours.

I haven't had my wisdom teeth since I was about 15 or 16 years old. I had them surgically removed before they ever came in because they were going to push all my teeth forward and mess up my teeth. Well, doesn't really matter because my teeth are messed up anyway. Gotta have the whole top row pulled and get dentures and I'm not even 30 yet.

I got wisdom teeth after 25 years of my age. These teeth grow very slowly and take many years to attain their full size.

I still have my wisdom teeth, they're on that long list of things that I keep putting back but know I eventually need to get to.

But yeah my wisdom teeth were pretty damn annoying/painful my senior year of high school, however since then they've more or less grown in and aren't causing any problems right now but should probably be preemptively removed as they serve no purpose.

I empathize with you Thomasss! I know how much they can suck 🙂

I know I have gotten my wisdom teeth pulled out but I can't remember when that happened. I think I was 17 or 18 years old when I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. I remember when that happened, having a frozen bag of peas against my mouth to help the healing process. Not fun times lol.
