So. In other words if you're ever having a hard day...like at work... and you're just counting the days until your next day off. Are you ever just hoping and waiting for the day to be over soon?

Often I'm like this. People have told me not to wish my life away. But sometimes I can't help myself. If its a bad day, isn't it wasted any way?

On days like these I think it's important to try your best to turn your thinking around and tune into more of a positive energy. I know some days are REALLY difficult but that's why it's so much more important to consciously be aware that it's happening and CHOOSE to have something to look forward to. Some people pray, others meditate, some listen to their favorite song(s), make plans with friends for the weekend. Whatever it is that makes you happy or at least get your mind off of the daily grind do it. Life is too short to live in misery unfortunately in our society we've been conditioned to think that's how it's supposed to be, that's what it means to be responsible, but in reality it isn't - we're supposed to be happy with what we do and do what makes us happy.

I really do not think it is so bad to spend the occasional day living in a fantasy world. I DO think it would be a bad idea to do that every day. I make a living off of creativity, and I am willing to bet I am not the only one here that does so. So anyone that treats an imagination as nothing more than a time-waster is missing out on something that is both fun and productive. I think that if you are having a bad or boring day, there is nothing wrong with getting a little lost in your head. In fact, I would even go so far as to say it can be a good mental exercise.

If you are a writer, you need to be able to create whole new worlds in your head. A vivid imagination may come naturally to some people, but that does not mean it is an organized and efficient imagination. That takes practice. I often sit around and try to imagine myself living a completely different life. It is not because I have any problem with my actual life, which I love, I do it for the same reason a musician practices on their instrument for hours every day.

I do agree that you should not wish your whole life away. Reality can be great if you really want it to be, but wishing a day or two away here and there is fun and healthy.

If it's a bad day I will make many mistake as possible. Every bad thing will happen and I do not worry next day.
