The movie industry is now teeming with indie movies and short films because wanabee directors can buy the cheap camera or even borrow from friends. But the crux of the matter is the editing of the movie which is now easy with the software. As one film editor said, even a grade schooler can edit a film now, yeah, that easy especially if you are using a Mac and your editor is Final Cut. But other editors like Adobe Premiere are also good enough. If this trend continues, we will have an avalanche of movies.
