Said to be one of Google's biggest contenders, Alpha is the first step in an ambitious, long-term project to make all systematic knowledge immediately computable by anyone.

I was eager to try it out yesterday morning, however the firewall at Work caused a few problems with the page displaying properly, and forgot to try it out when I got home.

What do you think?

I saw that mentioned in the Sun on Saturday (i think it was) and i forgot to try it out... It is pretty impressive.

Saw this before they allowed any searching.

Tried it, and it seems decent.

It's okay but Google has it's heels in deep already, it will take one hell of a good long term development to even get a chance at knocking at it's search share.
