Woltlab vs. WordPress?

I am currently in the process of making a site and I am trying to decide which software to use. Right now I am between Woltlab and Wordpress. I already have a Woltlab blog and forum license, so the purchase cost is not a concern.

Currently, I know and have uses wordpress in the past, but I have not used Woltlab. Some of my concerns with Woltlab mostly involve the ability to find themes and plugins for it as the community supporting is almost exclusively German.

The site I am making will be used primarily for photos. I do not plan on having a forum immediately, but it is something I want to add down the road which I know can be done relatively easily in Woltlab.

This is the first time I hear about Woltlab; Before, all my sites are using Wordpress, it has a large support community, multi language. And there are many themes and plugins to support. 1 Vote for Wordpress.

WordPress doesn't seem to have as cool avatars and such for its forum mod (bbPress). I mean, it's good enough for a forum - but isn't really top-of-the-line.

Just go for WordPress, and choose a premium photo theme that suitable for your purpose. They're sold many on envato market.
