I haven't seen it yet but the few people I know who have seen it have been raving about it, suggesting it's one of the best superhero movies ever made.
Based on my survey of people who saw the movie, it is a blockbuster in terms of audience. Theaters are packed and there were applause at the end of the movie. Not only here in our country but also abroad. As they say, a star is born in Gal Gadot, the new Wonder Woman.
I finally was able to watch Wonder Woman in the theater. Thanks for the holiday - it is Independence Day of our country, June 12. I was disappointed with the movie Wonder Woman and now I realized that the hype in the media releases were mostly about Gal Gadot, the title roler who plays Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman. The stinks as per my taste because it is a war movie and not really about Wonder Woman. After the backgrounder to show that Princess Diana comes from a mythological place of the Amazons (she is the daughter of the Amazon queen), the leading man who is a World War 2 spy arrived when the 2 dimensions overlapped. And then the story of war began which lasted until the very end. Americans and British against Germany. It's not appealing to me and I wonder how the children would understand the movie.
Its difficult for the children to understand the movie. The story is a little complicated and for whatever reason, Wonder woman fights to God of truth at the end and as far as the story goes, its so disappointing. There is not much of a 3D efffect but the VFX are amazing and Gal Gadot is stunning.
