Which words do you filter? Dont actually post the words, just a few letters is all we need.

Do you filter any words just to annoy people? On 4chan alot of people claim that "7" wordfilters to "Over 9000" and such, do you use any of that on your forum?

I plan to do something like that on Blue Humor, im just not sure which words to filter to what, any ideas?

I change phrases for a joke

I change 'you're gay' to 'look at me I am gay'
then the person looks stupid ~lol~

Well mines meant for teenagers. Im thinking of this more a jokes than actually blocking words as the curse words are all unblocked.

Are you under 13? You're only allowed to register if they are older than 13. It's ok if you are over 13, but it's meant for adults in the sense that sexual convos, swearing, etc is all permitted within the rules

I don't filter any words as the members around my forum are mature enough to not say f-k 50 times in a post, and I also don't mind moderate swearing. ~smile~

I've never really used word filters to be honest. It's more hassle looking through posts for bad words, going to the admin panel, entering the bad word and thinking up a replacement than it would be to tell your members to keep their language to a suitable standard.

To be honest, if you need to use a word filter your board has problems.

I don't censor any words. I feel as if my forum members and the forum itself is mature enough to warrent not having any. And for a year, I've been proven right.
