Word Processor

Anybody remember using a Word Processor? Thought of this topic from: First Computer
This is pre-computers. We had computers in school but they were bulky & had to “boot” them up. General population didn’t have them. My first Word Processor I got for school didn’t have a monitor, only a small screen that maybe let you see one sentence at a time. It was better than using my mom’s typewriter. Those were never fun! Then I progressed to a WP with a monitor which made all the difference when we had to do school reports.
So, who is old enough to remember these?

This was before my time, but it’s interesting to see how much technology has changed throughout the years! I did type on an old typewriter once, my parents got me one from a thrift store when I was 14. I don’t know what happened to it after I moved out of their house, it’s probably in storage somewhere.
