It's the free thing that comes with Microsoft. Does anyone use it? What are the pros and cons?

I use notepad++ that is free to downlad and has more better options

The .rtf extension (the native WordPad one) often cannot be uploaded (also not on Forum Promotion).

Wordpad is alright but doesn't have the option like they all do you know. Not like the paid version.

But mostly I use notepad++ to do most of my typing on and save or print, also use it to code with.

I still use it from time to time. I'd say it's a program that's between Notepad and Word 🙂

WordPad is good but I prefer Notepad. If you need something more than Notepad though, WordPad is a good one. It's more rich in features.

Notepad is easier for me as well as most users, but I did use wordpad when i didnt have microsoft word.

haha Same here. If I needed to write an ebook or something I would use WordPad because I didn't have Office.

WordPad is just another text editor by Microsoft. According to Wikipedia, it has more features than Notepad.

WordPad is probably best for people who don't want to pay for or stand something like MS-Word
Notepad is best if you want to write a small .txt file(Such as README.txt) or use it in Youtube(Just don't)
Notepad++ is just Notepad but better for programming and it can be used as a normal text editor
MS-Word is primarily for businesses, reports, offices and College and University students alike

I use Libre Office. I haven't used Wordpad in a long, long time. I like to be able to do more.

The up-to-date version of WordPad is reasonable for a free piece of software.

However, you could also just use Google Docs, or WPS Writer. The latter is very similar to Microsoft Office, but without the stupidly high cost.
