How to change my banner from being text to an actual image in Wordpress?

Are you on Wordpress.com or have a remote installation? Using the default theme correct?

I have it on another site..I Downloaded WP and uploaded it. I am using the theme that currently is displayed on Quifoo.

Okay well if you look in the 'header.php' template file for the code displaying that header image. It seems to be wrapped in a div titled 'span-11' so do a search for that in that file and change the img location to a new image.
