WordPress.com vs WordPress.org

Do you prefer self-hosted WordPress or the free host version WordPress.com?

I would much rather prefer to self-host my site, I can choose my own themes and my own plugins without being restricted to their themes and plugins that they approve of. :lol:

I don't use either. I would rather run a forum than a blog.

Self hosted. I tend to find the free hosted runs pretty slow and I don't like the selection of themes, the premium themes are madly overpriced also. I would much rather have greater control over it and run things myself.

I always pick the self hosted option. Bad idea to give up control of your site to a third party. So WordPress.org then.
