Wordpress Comments Repeated?

It seems like everytime that a REAL person who is at my website makes a comment..about 20 other people that submit no website and no email in the comment COPY that comment like..20 times! They use the names like:

Bill
John
Will
Nick
etc...Common names..it's REALLY annoying.

Any idea why?

Do you have Akismet installed? They are your average bots and spammers. Akismet can help you defend your blog.

I used to get them all the time, but I didn't care. Usual names with an average comment.

It actually made it look like people read my blog :lol:

Most of them are spammers who just like to comment on your site with their site's links.
Be sure to have a Captcha on your site before someone post a comment and you could also add Akisment. It's a great Wordpress plug-in to prevent spam.
