Working from home

Anyone here work from home? Maybe you did it during the pandemic? Would you rather work from home or go to work outside your home?

No, but I would like to as I am on disability and would like to supplement my income or replace it completely.

I don't know. Some places want you to be in the same room on a web cam for 8 hours so they can monitor whether you're working or not. I don't know how I feel about that.

I never worked from home but I did get 2 months off with pay when the pandemic first started.

Just freelance work 🙂 from online mostly, if it's a well paid job maybe, but going out working is the lifestyle

Lucky! I worked all the way through it. It was mostly dead for several months. My job is based on customer service so it was just like going and hanging out at work for 9 hours doing nothing and then going home because everyone else was at home and couldn't afford to spend money. So it was dead at my job and nothing was going on.

Since 2009. It's pretty comfortable, as I don't need to go at a regular office. Of course, family expects me to feed/care for them, so I'm mainly a work from home momzilla than anything else 😀

I'm doing Door Dash, which is self-employment, but not necessarily from home.
