Worst forum software

I think SMF is the worst. It's extremely hard to use in my opinion, and doesn't offer many features as other software.

I dislike SMF as well. I have never been an admin on one but I have always been disgusted by its look as the themes are too boxy so I have never joined one.

bravenet is the worst they have a limit on how many members you can have and the amount of post.

SUCKS!

Forget about member limits, how about those ads.. I visited one site and there were so many ads, it caused my browser to crash.

Wow, that does sound bad.

But yes, I've found Exboard/Yuku to be terrible. Adds everywhere, not to mention you have to pay for a lot of features (custom emoticons, pinned threads, etc) that you can get for free with some other provider.

SMF isn't bad at all. You just have to go beyond the SMF. Because there are some pretty cool looking themes and mods.....

NEVER heard of one even charging you for pinning topics O_O

You have to pay ZB to allow admins read member PMs without reports.

SMF is very easy to use.

It always has tons of features to use.

I can admit SMF does have alot of dull themes,but there are quite alot of good themes aswell.

However saying they have hardly any mods is quite funny to me..

It always has tons of features to use.

I can admit SMF does have alot of dull themes,but there are quite alot of good themes aswell.

Well, I haven't come across any software that I haven't disliked yet. I'm used SMF, vB, phpBB2, and have experimented with some others. None of those I've tried, to me, are lousy. Some are just better than others. With me, phpBB3 is the best one out there, and it's what I use. All the others are just not as good, but not lousy. :shrug:

I SMF T_T can't find a reason to hate it I do not like Php2 or 3 but I don't think they're the worse. I did a test forum with SMF and I like it so much.
