phpBB2 was ace. Well at the time it was. It still is kinda. The new Vbulletin is crap, doesn't appeal to me, forumotion is what I would have to say.

Hmm, hard to say. Forumotion does suck, I agree.
I once installed that on my server because I had an auto-installer and too much time on my hands... I didn't like it at all. 😛 As that's been depreciated by phpBB3, though, I wouldn't say that's the crappiest. I'm sure version 1.0 of most softwares were crap.el canadiano said:

Yeah but its software is a heavily edited phpBB2. Its basically a software but not downloadable.

Sorry sbfc, but you are incorrect. The technicians at forumotion (company) have coded their own software and it highly resembles phpbb3 etc. since they have taken bits from many softwares.

For me, the 2.x version of phpbb with the default theme or themes similar to the default are the crappiest forum software because it is dull and boring.
