Ezboard was pretty crap. The free Ezboards were VERY basic and would make you pay for "Gold Ezboard," which gave you nothing more than what you could get from Invisionfree.
I deal a lot more with paid hosting than free now, but I would have to say for paid hosting that:
GoDaddy SUCKS!!!
1) they clutter to much shit and get you into buying crap you dont even need, I do not host with them, but I have clients who host with them and i urge them to leave when they can.
Though, the best paid host ever, and is also rated number one for like almost all top sites that rate hosting has to be:
HostMonster is blueHost's sister site...seeing as i'm on blueHost I can confirm James' suggestion ~smile~
With refrence to Godaddy, I completely agree. It's not only their hosting platform they clutter with crap, I find that the whole system (buying domains, support area..domain control panel) etc.. are all full of useless crap which slows the site down quite significantly.
I've heard plenty of bad things about GoDaddy hosting. I wouldn't go with them.
I was looking at dedicated servers from them. I looked at reviews, and they always seem to be down, or switching servers, so I'll stick with ThePlanet, Limestone, or LiquidWeb for my servers, where I can trust my information with them.
