Worst investment ever?

I once opened a wine shop with lots of money spent. Due to my inexperience in the business, I ended up selling the business in 6 months at a loss.

I won't bother starting any new business unless it is one that I've taken my time to learn.

I would never invest in something that I have no experience, the worst thing that anyone can do.

There's some stocks that have really kicked my butt these last two years. I'm down big on Paramount, for example.

Same. Best advise is to buy quality blue chip companies versus speculative volatile stocks. We've all been there.

Back in the mid 80's I lost a packet on a property due to a combination of bad timing and an inept surveyor. It took me the best part of thirty years living close to the breadline to recover from that.

More recently the stock market has been extremely good to me. I now have more than enough money never to need to work again. Thank you Nvidia!

One of my worst investments was trying to start a web hosting company in the early 2000s. Needless to say, the guy who was supposed to invest with me backed out and I lost a lot of money it was a bad experience that failed horribly.
