Is it worth it to update and edit old posts like how some website owners update their web page articles to make changes when necessary in hopes that Search engines will index their site more often?
Am I better off just posting new content on a daily basis rather then spending too much time editing old posts?
Editing old posts are fine if you plan on adding more to it, but it would be easier to drive traffic to your site if you can provide daily content. More traffic to older content is a natural reaction to newer content being made. Atleast, that is how things turn out for The Moral Liberal. Usually the content I put up, compliments the older information. So search engine traffic goes up, and also internal searching for content relating to what they are reading goes up.
