If a website also has an App which is very popular on the Apple iOS Apps Store, Android Marketplace, and Windows Phone App store could a website be worth more since a lot of mobile apps can also send information, and updates to their readers when they open their App on mobile phones like iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, and Windows Phones and Tablets?
For example, http://instagr.am/ is probably worth millions of dollars to some people because a lot of Apple iOS, and Android users uses their App for posting images on their picture sharing socail network on a daily basis, so if they want to put ads or make a paid app/service they can probably make a lot of cash with their site.
Re: Would a site be worth more if it have a popular mobile A
I don't think Android has Instragram because I've searched for it several times on the Android Market... I think they only have apps that are similar to it. Anyway, I'd believe they would be worth more because it makes it that much more popular, or gives it that much more potential to be popular.
Apps are still relatively new and have the cool factor with a lot of people.
I think Instagram mainly got popular because people use Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks to post links to their vintage, and fadded looking pictures which they edited and uploaded with instagram. Plus, Celebrities like Taylor Swift uses Instagram a lot on her twitter.

Yeah, they're worth way more because investors only really care for mobile users now. Just behold Google and Apple being worth over $500/share when HP and Dell are at like $20-30.

It would only be worth a little more if you were specifically basing it on the app. However, since the app brings in a lot more traffic (and possibly profit, if you put a price on the app) then yes, it would make the site worth more.
