Yes, I think Keyboard cases would be more popular for tablet owners when there are more apps like Word processors, browsers, games which uses a keyboard since touchscreen and tilt/motion controls for some type of games like fighting, RPG, and Racing games are less fun and not as accurate as a keyboard.

There are also some Apps for more tech savvy users which let you map on-screen buttons to keyboard, and mouse for Gaming on a tablet with keyboard and mouse.

Some keyboard cases also extend the battery life of a tablet because the battery in the keyboard can also be used to charge the tablet. I also read on a blog that some tablet keyboard cases also have a built-in hard drive or SSD built-in to expand the storage on a tablet.

A keyboard case with an Android tablet makes for a great laptop/netbook alternative for sure, and for about half the price.

I seen some $10-15 Bluetooth and Micro-USB keyboard cases on eBay.

I think you can also use the Bluetooth Keyboard on the case on a game consoles, PCs, smartphones, and laptops which has Bluetooth which is more common these days compared to the past like in 2007 where you need to get a USB to Bluetooth adapter to use Bluetooth devices like keyboards, speakers, and headsets.
