What are your opinions on making a free video course on a topic related to a website or forums main topic?
I notice a lot of YouTube channels are very random, or focus a lot on being trendy/cool and users just post up a lot of general videos which are entertaining, but lacks consistency when it comes to topics like one day the user rants about music, talks about iPhone, and the other day a user films themselves playing a piano.
Although I find their YouTube videos entertaining, it can also be somewhat confusing on what their channel is about, so I usually don't visit their website since I'm not sure will the website be useful for me.
Would you think having a series of videos posted to YouTube as a free video course about a very specific topic like "Website promotion for newbies" would lead to more people being interested in your channel, and website vs posting random videos?
