Do you feel static websites which display only information be less popular compared to forums, blogs, social networks, Wikis, search engines, and sites which you interact with by commenting, rating, or making stuff to share with the website community?

I feel static sites will still be around for sites for plumbers, lawyers, restaurants, etc, but most people probably choose to make or spend most of their time on a blog, forum, social network, and other types of interactive sites which let users interact with the websites rather then just a static website which display information, but there is no commenting, searching, sharing or ratting for articles on the site.

Definitelt static site have less content than the dynamic site. Hence the SEO will be lower than the dynaminc. So they will be less popular.

I agree with Forumhookers comment about SEO.

I think interactive sites also do better with social media sharing since a lot of blogs, forums, video sites, and flash gaming sites get a lot of Likes, +1, Tweets, linkback on other blogs or forums, etc on social networks when I look through my Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Social bookmarking, and other social feeds.

I also read a few forum posts on web master sites where they ask forumers how to convert their HTML static site to WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla which are all interactive CMS software.
