I have a new forum and need traffic. I've got 6 members. I'd like to do some affiliate exchanges with other forums but my main concern is that because I'm new other forums will no be interested in affiliating because they may think it's not a fair trade because I don't get much traffic just yet.
Would you consider affiliating with a new forum? How do you decide to affiliate with another forum or site? I assume traffic stats and similar genres come into play but other things do you consider.
Yes I would consider it if the owner of the forum is a serious person and works hard on it 🙂 . At the end of the day all popular forums were once new 🙂
Even though my forum is going to be new when it opens. If my forum ever gets big and really active, I will still affiliate with new forums as it's all about community and building relationships while helping each other out. I don't know why some forums won't affiliate with newer ones, I just say they have a big ego and not in it for the community and helping of others.
I would be a little dubious about it I guess especially if I didn't know the forum owner too well however I don't think I would completely over rule it or anything.
