As a musician I would much prefer to date someone with weird musical tastes. It's often the case that music which doesn't resonate on first hearing ends up being the most enduring.

I don’t think I’d stop dating someone over what they listen to. My significant other listens to plenty of stuff I don’t like. That’s why they invented AirPods.

It'd have to be some really off the wall, offensive stuff for it to be a dealbreaker for me. Otherwise, you do you with your music. I would hope we could have some common ground with it in some aspects, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't.

Same. Music is just music. If anyone gets with me tho, they're being subjected to my favorite band every now and then when we take super long drives.
