I have been reading articles about the protesters against Israel, and today, a university graduate tore up her degree as it was handed to her on stage. The actual degree isn't handed, so it was all for show.

Would you hire someone who is an active protestor? Why/Why Not?

I'm leaning towards probably not.

There's been a lot of protests happening in the UK recently and it's often the case that the protesters are intent on making everyone else's lives a misery or destroying irreplaceable, historically important objects. Here's a good example...

Apart from the criminal damage, many of the protesters seem to be hypocrites at best or just extremely dim. The just stop oil protesters are usually seen wearing synthetic shoes and clothing while carry synthetic banners all of which are made of... oil!

Negative. I think most protesting is disgusting and even hypocritical when they call it "peaceful protesting" while vandalizing property and putting themselves in the way of others who just want to go about their business.

I had a guy working for me several years ago that was into going to protests. He drove me crazy always talking about his crap drama that I could care less about.

No, because then they might have a problem over anything you do lol.

Everyone has a right to peaceful protest. Damn right I would hire someone who is passionate enough to stand up for what they believe in.

I would not want an activists working for me. They would come with lots of energy for confrontation both with the management and other staff. I won't hire a well known activist.
