Would you purchase this hosting?

Hey guys... I need to know if you'd be interested in this hosting.

At current Hawk Host has the following specs for $30/$27 per month ranging between per month to a year prepaid:
384MB guarantee'd RAM.
768MB burstable RAM.
250GB of bandwidth.
20GB of space.

Now I currently am thinking of purchasing a dedi hosting with faster speeds than Hawkhost's hosting, more secure and a greater anti-DdoS protection but will allow me to offer the following for $15 per month:
384MB guarantee'd RAM.
768MB burstable RAM.
660GB of bandwidth.
40GB of space.

My question is would you purchase the hosting account from mine for that price? I've compared to hawkhost for you to see the difference between them...
Also check at their site here to see what you'd get for their cheapest plan for $18 a month compared to mine.

Yes both are VPS sales... for $15 a month my offer is the cheapest that I've seen so far, just looking for feedback. 😀

It's saying up for a year guarantee'd I'm doing it for the exp of it and to say I've done it. If it makes money it'll be up for a lot longer.

Updated first post... check out the mass difference between our $15 a month plan and their $20/18 a month plan!!! HUGE difference.

BEGONE leecher!!! and bet you they have a lot of downtime and is a crappy host. 😛 We have 99.9% uptime guarantee'd or an extra free month hosting...
I also don't suppose they have anti-DdoS protection of 35GB attacks... Hawk Host has a 10GB limit. 😉

Also I bet you they are overselling like a fish and are slow as hell...

also, @Earth Be Lost, you doing this by yourself or with a partner(s)? As a rule of thumb I generally wouldn't purchase hosting from a 1 man team, anything goes wrong with that person and there goes the server, plus support wouldn't be great with a single person.

I'm doing this with two other really good friends that have both been around hosting for a long time and have friends that are willing to be on the support team which have been on long time hosting and support teams for hosting.

Bet you they are gonna be broke REALLY fast then. 🙂 If they get passed the first month without being oversold to hell or bust I'd be supprised... good luck to them. 😉

Well by your stats and provision of that hosting... It comes to $859.00 per month for the owner of the reseller... and that's only to host 16 users... They don't offer a plan to give them enough to host what they are giving...

so 16 x 12 = $192 a month thay are making

192 - 859 = $667 they are loosing a month...

That to me either points out either you or they are lying. 😉

This is the minimum costing for the hosting they can do btw which is slower than mine, has no DdoS protection or such and doesn't have as much protection. 🙂

If you are looking to upgrade your package, I would recommend taking a look at Linode their rates are a little more competitive. Other options are the RackSpaceCloud and the GigeNetCloud

If you're looking to offer VPS hosting, don't oversell like the company mentioned above. I'm familar with the company and somewhat curious to know if they are even profitable. A great panel to use is SolusVM.

This is for me possibly offering the hosting plans...
I have a dedi which to offer the plans. I have no intention of overselling and have done all the maths for it... We will be using solusVM also.

I'm attempting to gain the pros and cons to see if this is worth doing or if I'd be loosing a massive loss from the begining in which I'd create smaller plans for far less with an cheaper plan to cut the loss and possibly turn a profit to keep it going.
