Would you rather be proposed to in private or in front of family & friends?

Private for me. Then share with others later. When my husband proposed to me, it was just us 2. Like it better that way. More special. While the family would be nice, to me, they would take away from the special occasion, the moment. Same with having to take selfies all the time. Just ENJOY the moment.

I proposed to my ex wife in our living room 5 months into the relationship. Moving fast probably factored in with other problems why my marriage failed the way it did.
