10 minor complaints. I think it's because I'd much less have the frustration because I've lived through the aggravation of dealing with a very difficult member and it puts me in a bad mood.

I've had a period where I had to deal with several small complaints per day. I found it definitely easier than dealing with someone who is being disruptive.

Definitely 10 minor complaints. They're far easier to deal with than one difficult person.

One difficult member a day is my choice.

I'd get to know them, understand why they're being the way they are, and try to figure out how I can change them.

Understanding forum members and their behavior might as well be its own category in psychology, LOL.

Definitely 10 minor complaints. Seems easier to deal with than one person causing chaos

Just ban the difficult member and then they're dealt with.
It's not always that easy. Sometimes a really problematic member can sign up with more than one account and you have to ban those as well

I go with complaints, as complaints turn into something that can be very helpful. Complaints are like viewing a car and fixing things based on that review

Neither. I have a low tolerance for members who complain excessively, and I would warn them or ban them if they continued.

But having members who complain in a good way can help your site!!!!

Either or is fine by me.

It's the same thing as raising children. Some may be a picky eater, and may not like certain foods, so they'll complain about it & you may have to cook them something else. I am in different, so to say. I have siblings that are picky eaters, so dealing with complaints isn't something that bothers me. Understanding and being compassionate goes a long way with dealing with complaints, and knowing how to handle complaints
goes hand to hand with community management.

There's no difference to me.
Just ban the difficult member and then they're dealt with.

Right. That's the best thing to do, and you can possibly lose a valuable member.

I think I would rather deal with one member, the 10 minor complaints every day would probably annoy me more if I'm being honest. xD At least with the one member you can eventually end up banning them if they keep returning.

Those ten minor complaints can quickly become major complaints if not addressed promptly. And then multiply that by ten more minor complaints each day. I'll take the one difficult member and I'll put all my stock in properly resolving that each day.
