Would you rather detect every lie you hear or get away with every lie you tell?
Detect every lie I hear. Just be nice to know who would be hiding the truth. People can lie so easily. That’s evident from how actors can act & you can get caught up in the proverbial lie.

I would rather get away with every lie I make. I avoid lying because I don't like the pressure of remembering things I've told someone but... if I had this ability life would just be easier I think. lol

I don't need everyone to tell me the truth. If they do lie, I realize that chances are their defenses are up for whatever reason.

I feel uncomfortable telling any lie so I'll go with having the ability to detect every lie I hear. I'm pretty gullible sometimes.

I don't really ever tell lies due to me not needing to lie. I feel like it's always better to tell the truth, lying can definitely burn bridges that you don't want to burn. So, this question is rather easy for me. I would rather be able to detect lies than get away with lies.

Detecting lies is very stupid. Even if you can detect it there's nothing you can do about it anyways in any setting because all you can do is say you are lying and then what else? You have no control over other people anyways. At least if I could get away with lying I can then have other people act for me what I want them to and I can have the final say in how other people would act. I could henceforth be President of the United States with no repercussions but that's just the fact of nature.
