Would you rather do physical labor or a workout for ‘exercise’?

Physical labor for me. Working out to vids, weights, can be boring & get tedious at times. Warmer months I tend to forgo regular workouts as I’m doing a lot outside in our yard.

The only time that I do get to exercise is physical labour with no choice to do it.

I've done some of the hardest of hard labor in my lifetime. I was a coal miner. I was an extrusion operator where my machines were a constant 450 degrees F in a 100 degree plant. I laid asphalt roads. I seal coated roads. I climbed up metal A-frame roofs in the winter on rope/harness system to clean exhaust systems. I think I've done my fair share lol.

I work in data intelligence analysis now, about 99.999% on a computer haha and I don't miss any of those other jobs

But I hate the gym. I love bicycling though, and hiking and now getting into trail running 🙂

It depends on the physical labor, I think. I would be happy to do farm work or farm chores, I'd pass on the coal mining work. I will say that gyms do become repetitive and boring though over time. Give me a sport to play instead, fun and workout combined in one.

Physical labor for me as well, I get bored rather fast.🙂

I'd prefer to do physical exercise rather than labour because I'd rather try and get in shape than do something that is just hard.
