Would you rather go on a scavenger hunt or a treasure hunt?

For those who don’t know the difference (I didn’t either!): A scavenger hunt involves collecting items from a list. A treasure hunt involves following clues to find an object. I haven’t done either, except online. I think I’d be open to doing both but the scavenger hunt sounds more appealing.

I've done both! The scavenger hunt you rely on others usually, to give you the items. We used to do that at birthday parties. We'd form teams and each had the same list of items to get from the neighborhood, and we were given different blocks so the same houses weren't hit. The first team back to the party home with everything on the list were the winners. I think my team won once. You have to move fast and hope that the neighbor moves quickly as well!

For the treasure hunts, I prefer to set them up and write the clues myself! It's hard to figure out clues unless you know how the person who wrote them thinks (sometimes). It's easier if there is a theme to go by!

I like using my brain instead of begging people, so I will vote Treasure Hunt!

Yeah, scavenger hunts are fun for birthdays, did that for my sister's partner's son's 18th, he had a blast!
