Would you rather have an inkjet or laser printer?

Laser. We used to have an inkjet but we wasted so much money on the ink as we rarely print anything out & the ink would dry up.

I honestly know absolutely nothing about printers. I bought a dirt cheap one to print off my resume a couple years ago, but I don’t think I’ve used it in over a year.

Inkjet printers use liquid ink to produce images and text on paper. They are generally less expensive than laser printers, and they are often more versatile, with the ability to print on a wider range of media, including envelopes, cardstock, and glossy photo paper. Inkjet printers are also generally quieter and smaller than laser printers, making them a good choice for home offices or small businesses.

Laser printers use toner (powdered ink) to produce images and text on paper. They are generally faster and more efficient than inkjet printers, with the ability to print large volumes of documents quickly. Laser printers are also more durable and require less maintenance, making them a good choice for busy offices or high-volume printing environments. However, they are generally more expensive than inkjet printers and are not as versatile in terms of the types of media they can print on.

Ultimately, the choice between an inkjet and laser printer will depend on your specific needs and budget. If you need to print high volumes of documents quickly and don't mind paying a higher upfront cost, a laser printer may be the better choice. If you need a versatile printer that can handle a variety of media and is easier on your budget, an inkjet printer may be a better fit.

I don't really have a need for either one. I'm rarely ever put in a position where I need to use one.

I have two laser printers; they last a lot longer than the inkjets.🙂

I have a black and white laser printer, good enough for me 🙂

I still use an inkjet normal printer. Not for myself but the older genuatarion still likes the old ways and reads what they can feel and touch. I like to get into 3D printing one day but it's something that can wait down that road.

I don't really do pictures at all, so I'd rather have a laser printer. They print faster, and it's cheaper to print large volumes of documents.

I haven't had a printer at home for several years, though.
