Would you rather read or listen to a book?

I prefer reading. I'm an introvert so I need to "see" written words. Oral words tend to not stick as well. That's why I have subtitles on even for English speaking TV shows & movies.

It depends on the situation, I prefer to read, but I've started listening to audiobooks when I walk or workout, particularly classics that I skipped in my youth and want to go back to. They're well-narrated and you get so wrapped up in the story you finish your exercises before you realize it.

Both, I do not care in my case, Yet Reading I do more then listening

I'd rather listen. Reading a novels can get really repetitive and boring.

I find that I stop listening when people speak for long periods of time. I prefer to read.

Some days I have really bad selective hearing. It's even worse if I'm absorbed into doing something. It's like, I don't hear them....at all. It's weird.

Kind of reminds me of when Charlie Brown's teacher is talking.

My girlfriend gets upset with me over it. I don't do it on purpose. I don't mean to zone out. I find myself telling her that I pretty much have a one track mind. That sounds bad....
