Would you rather receive cash or gifts for your birthday?

We don't do gifts for birthdays, holidays, but to answer, I'd say Cash. Unless it’s a well-thought out handmade gift.

Gifts. I’m more of a sentimental person so I’d rather have something that has meaning. The monetary value of it means very little to me.

Every year whenever someone asks what do I want for my birthday I usually say maybe an hour of their time and just hang out. If that may be too difficult to arrange or if they want to give me something more then I usually say coffee, candles, chocolate, and/or a blanket (I can never have too many throws and blankets lol).

I don't care, honestly, as long as he/she knows what I like shopping for. I like video games, so if you're going to give me something at least buy a game I'm gonna like. Or give me a gift card at the place where I buy games. Or the value of the MSRP + Tax.

Cash can be very exciting! Nonetheless, there's nothing like a surprise. Anyway, if something is bad enough. you can exchange it for cash or something else.
